The corn is a nod to Yayoi Kusama’s polka dots. Although she more often displays them on pumpkins, we thought corn was a more universally enjoyed picnic food. Kusama believes polka dots are a way to infinity. “When we obliterate nature and our bodies with polka dots, we become part of the unity of our environment.” –Yayoi Kusama.
